Our story is unique. Family Pet Hospital of Shawnee was an idea many years in the making by a group of individuals who have held leadership positions in animal welfare. They dedicated their lives to making the world a better place for animals, believing it was their purpose. This led to the creation of the veterinary hospital they had always dreamed of.
Future
We carefully assessed what our pet-loving community needs for optimal health and happiness. Family Pet Hospital of Shawnee was our solution, proudly offering gold-standard medical services, lifestyle support, nutrition consultations, and advanced oral health procedures.
As we build a brighter future for you and your pet family, we will continue to provide veterinary care for some of the 6.5 million homeless animals struggling to survive in the United States. We are passionate about the fact that all animals deserve the best veterinary care, even homeless animals. We have built relationships with local animal rescues and animal welfare agencies to support the care of animals without advocates.

Our ultimate goal is to provide the best care in the world. It’s an ambitious goal, but one we are committed to achieving. Every day, our team strives to offer the highest quality care for you and your pet. In 2020, we upgraded our technology to better manage your pet’s health. We now use digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory equipment, a fully stocked pharmacy, and electronic communications.
We also require our veterinarians and support staff to seek continued education so your pet receives the most current therapies. We provide the care you expect from your doctor because when your pet looks into your eyes, they see a hero. Our goal is to help you care for them just like one.
